Colorado Springs’ first newly constructed hotel in the city’s downtown in over 40 years is nearing completion. The 10-storey, 167-room Hilton Garden Inn is developed by New Vision Hotels, and is scheduled to open in December 2018. The hotel features retail on the ground floor, 5,000 square feet of meeting space, a restaurant, and two penthouse suites.

Fastwalls supplied over 1,600 CFS panels for the hotel, for levels three through ten. The panels include load bearing interior demising and corridor walls, non-load bearing exterior walls, as well as panels manufactured for the stairwells and elevator shafts. With an average of 202 wall panels per level, the panels supplied exceeded 119,000 total square feet.

Fastwalls was pleased to work with other experts in the offsite construction industry on this project, including the EOR, Lochsa Engineering, and Ecospan Composite Floor Systems.
